Sludge Thickener
The thickener is used to thicken the sludge before the next step in sludge treatment. Thickeners are found in the paper and pulp industry and in municipal and industrial treatment plants.
Product Description
Hydria Water’s thickeners are robust and have torsion-resistant designs made from stainless steel. The drive is located on a steel bridge or concrete support. There are a large number of configurations, with or without additional functions.
All steel that comes into direct contact with process water is, as a minimum, made from stainless steel. Surface treatment of geared motors, bearings, etc. is carried out according to the customer’s wishes. The drive shafts are made from carbon steel, which is stronger, more abrasion-resistant and treated for better corrosion protection.
